"gli appartamenti Gal sono davvero un'ottima sistemazione per chiunque
voglia godersi Vienna e viverla non come un semplice turista. Gli
appartamenti sono dotati di ogni comfort, lavatrice, wifi gratuito,
cucina, acqua potabile, frigorifero... A pochi passi dal complesso di
appartamenti ci sono varie stazioni di metropolitana e bus, che
collegano la zona (che non è proprio vicinissima al centro; se amate
come noi le passeggiate a piedi a 15 minuti vi trovate di fronte a
Stefanplatz), panetterie buonissime dove fare colazione o semplicemente
assaggiare le delizie del luogo, supermercati e tanto altro: ogni
mattina sembrava di essere totalmente immersi nella vita cittadina.
Consiglio di affittare l'appartamento anche per 3-4 giorni, come abbiamo
fatto noi. Davvero una bella esperienza!"
"We arrived after the office had closed, but the
instructions to gain entry were excellent and we were soon installed in
our 'cute' little apartment. When we made contact with the office the
following day they were very helpful. The location was excellent, close
to U Bahn stations, trams, shops etc and within easy walking distance of
the inner city. The place was well equipped, only thing missing was a
washing machine (and no laundromats close by). We'd love to stay there
again if we make it back to Vienna."

"Bon plan pour loger à 3 ou 4 dans le même studio. Propre et très bien équipé, sauf la literie: un lit qui grince et les autres dans des canapés-lits. Bonne insonorisation, standing satisfaisant. Le métro est à 3 mn de marche et le centre ville tout proche (deux stations). J'y retourne la prochaine fois que je vais à vienne, si les prix restent aussi compétitifs (119 euros par nuit pour 4 personnes). "

"Eight
members of our family -- including a 70 year, a teenage girl and boys 9
and 11 -- stayed at the Gal Apartments for almost a week this summer.
It worked perfectly: the rooms were simple but handsome, modern design
and well thought out, clean, each with a small kitchen (the largest
apartment included a small washing machine) and dining area, a full
bath. Every morning one of our party went around the corner to a great
bakery to get coffee and croissants, and we started the day with a
relaxed breakfast in one of the apartments, with time to firm up the
day's plans. Location: just outside the Ring, about a five minute walk.
Nice, untouristy, "real", neighborhood with several good, simple and
not too expensive restaurants nearby. Prater about a ten or 15 minute
walk. Our only mistake was to take only three apartments -- one more
would have made it perfect (especially since our little wing had four
apartments together). This is not a "full service hotel" with someone
always on hand to help you with reservations, information, etc. But
hours when such services are available are posted and the two young men
we dealt with spoke good English, were very pleasant and helpful, made
taxi reservations for an early morning trip to rail station, gave
advice, maps, etc. Because the inner city and the Belvedere were where
we wanted to be, we were able to walk from our apartment to all the
places we wanted to see. We felt as if we were living in Vienna -- not
just tourists coming and going in a busy hotel -- but with a perfect
combination of hotel and private apartment. "
